Hugo Canelas leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Travel & Tourism practice in the UK and is a core member of the Consumer and Retail practices. Hugo also leads the Strategy, Growth, and Innovation topics across the London-Amsterdam-Brussels system. He has worked internationally for more than a decade across three continents and out of BCG's offices in London, New York, and Madrid.

Hugo has served numerous clients on a broad range of strategic questions including market opportunity assessment, consumer insight and new product development, digital/industry disruption, loyalty and personalization, distribution and sales, cost reduction, M&A and postmerger integration. Moreover, he has led several operating models redesigns, re-organizations and change management programs. He has also worked extensively with private equity funds in due diligences and vendor due diligences, and with portfolio companies.

Hugo also chairs the London office Career Development Committee for the Consultant cohort. Before joining BCG, he worked for another global strategy consulting firm.
