Igor Mikhalev is a business technology and innovation strategy expert at Boston Consulting Group. He is blockchain chapter lead at BCG Platinion. Igor’s focus is on creating innovative business models with machine learning, data science, parallel computing, blockchain, microservices, and highly scalable and data-intensive architectures. 

As head of BCG Platinion’s blockchain chapter, Igor’s aim is to leverage strong client relationships and ecosystems and support them with superior blockchain technology, backed by competency in order to innovate the business ecosystem across the client’s organization. Igor has worked with clients in the energy, life sciences, finance, government, publishing, and professional services sectors. 

Prior to joining BCG, Igor headed up a Life Sciences software engineering group at Elsevier and later built a successful startup that delivers data science services.
