James Mackintosh joined Boston Consulting Group in 2019. He is a member of the firm's Financial Institutions practice area and the Risk Team, and specializes in risk management. James has experience working with global and domestic systemically important banks (D/G-SIBs) and regulators on topics including risk measurement, process redesign, strategic and enterprise risk management, and public policy issues. 

Prior to joining BCG, James was a Partner in Finance and Risk at Oliver Wyman where he worked for 18 years.
