Jan Wittmaack joined Boston Consulting Group in 2008. He is a core member of the firm’s Principal Investors & Private Equity practice, as well as the Private Equity Task Force. He works with clients in metals and mining, technology, energy, and utilities on financial modeling, strategy, and transformation.

Jan has conducted over 25 due diligences for financial sponsors with a focus on industrial assets, medtech, and technology companies. He has also led several growth-focused value creation and full potential projects for private equity-owned industrials and technology companies. In his recent cases, he prepared the business plan review and assessed strategic options for a lens manufacturer, and developed a project excellence and capital efficiency program for a diamond business.

Prior to his work at BCG, Jan worked at Morgan Stanley in the mergers and acquisitions division.
