Jeff Schumacher is the founder and non-executive chairman of BCG Digital Ventures, the corporate innovation, incubation and investment arm of The Boston Consulting Group. Since founding DV in 2014, Jeff has drawn on his deep experience in building new digital businesses and transforming digital capabilities for large multinational corporations, with a focus on marketing, sales, and strategy.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Jeff has cofounded several prominent digital advisory firms, including Booz Digital and the Axon Advisory Partners. He has extensive experience in customer relationship management, and he has held leadership positions in IBM’s technology practice and Accenture’s technology and strategy practices.

Prior to founding DV, Jeff led the North American marketing and sales practice of McKinsey & Company. He previously served as the chief marketing officer, chief strategy officer, and executive vice president of Sports Authority, where he drove a major digital transformation and executed the company’s global growth strategy. He currently serves as an advisory board member for Shopkick and EcoRebates.
