José Arias is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice.

Over the course of his consulting career, José has worked with clients in the telecom, media, and pharmaceutical sectors on a wide range of issues related to strategy, marketing, analytical approaches, operations improvement, and transformation and turnaround programs. His experience spans the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

José has worked primarily with telecom and media players leveraging big data and analytics to enhance customer value and define commercial strategies. He has also developed extensive experience in leading the transformation and turnaround of operators. Hence, he has partnered with mobile, fixed, and broadband players to optimize their pricing and go-to-market strategies, and he has helped numerous clients develop growth or revamp strategies, leveraging his expertise in marketing, sales, and distribution.

Before joining BCG in 2016, José was a senior partner at both Booz & Co and Oliver Wyman.
