Jules Wurlod has been a consultant at Boston Consulting Group since August 2016. From October 2017 to February 2018, Jules was an ambassador at the BCG Henderson Institute, working with Professor Knut Haanæs on strategic decision-making frameworks. In this role, he investigated the tradeoff between exploitation and exploration activities, and how they need to be carefully balanced depending on the competitive environment that companies are facing./p>
Prior to joining BCG, Jules worked in several public sector organizations, including the United Nations and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and he completed a PhD in environmental economics at the Graduate Institute in Geneva. His research, published in top-tier peer-reviewed journals, includes a field experiment exploring consumer choices for green products, as well as an investigation of the impact of green innovation on energy consumption.
