Julien Saur is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care practice. He has worked several years in each of BCG’s Berlin, Mexico, Paris, and New York offices. His focus is on cell therapy, oncology, new product launch, and strategy. 

Since joining BCG in 2008, Julien has served numerous health care organizations in the biopharma, medtech, and global health sectors. He is particularly knowledgeable about biopharma strategy and commercial topics, and has also worked with his clients on a broad spectrum of projects, including R&D, digital, and M&A projects. 

Julien’s recent project experience includes supporting commercial and medical functions launching new products, helping oncology and cell therapy companies define their strategy, and leading large-scale M&A efforts. 

Prior to joining BCG, Julien was a researcher in mathematics at the Max Planck Institute, in Germany. He also worked for the United Nations World Food Program (UN WFP) in Ethiopia.
