Kai Angermeier is a data business expert for Boston Consulting Group's Omnia business unit. Omnia designs and develops digital consulting products that enable clients to maximize value during and beyond project boundaries. In this role, Kai develops and improves data products in terms of content, processes, and technology across practices, and acts as advisor and onsite support, as well as a link between business and technology. 

Kai joined Boston Consulting Group in July 2013 as part of BCG’s Technology Advantage and Financial Institutions practices. He brings over 15 years of experience in E2E process optimization and lean six sigma, business interface during IT migrations, and banking and banking IT. 

For almost seven years, Kai was part of BCG´s Retail Banking Operational Excellence benchmark, acting as global operational lead and working along with approximately 400 financial institutions clients using REBEX on- and offsite. During this time he gained expertise in designing data assets, building efficient and effective collection/validation and deployment processes, understanding client and business requirements and translating them into data products, and creating high performance infrastructures designed for scale and performance.
