Kai Angermeier is a benchmarking expert and global operational lead for The Boston Consulting Group’s Retail Banking Operational Excellence Benchmark (REBEX). After 10 years working in the industry he joined BCG in July 2013, as part of BCG’s Technology Advantage and Financial Institutions core groups. Today Kai is part of BCG's Product Business Unit and leads the operational execution of the REBEX benchmark across four global locations. He develops and improves the benchmark on content and technology on a year over year basis. He and his team also help clients and case teams as retail banking experts during cases.

Prior to BCG, Kai worked for 10 years in multiple positions at Commerzbank, where he had hands-on experience improving and developing processes and IT systems across the bank.

Kai has over five years of experience in retail banking benchmarking, and has supported more than 300 banking cases and clients globally during his career at BCG.
