Makoto Shirakura joined Boston Consulting Group in 2014. He is a core member of the firm’s Technology Advantage; Marketing, Sales & Pricing; Technology, Media & Telecommunications; Operations; and Energy practices.

Makoto has deep expertise in digital transformation and agile at scale. He works with clients in a wide range of industries including energy, on companywide transformation using digital technology and agile methods, formulation and implementation of digital strategy, operational efficiency improvement using digital, office operations, and call center reform using AI.

Prior to joining BCG, Makoto worked at Accenture and at PIPED BITS Co., Ltd
