Marcelo Tau is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Retail practice. He joined the firm in 2017, and since then has worked mostly with department store and retail grocery clients across a range of topics, including operations, store processes, labor management, marketing and merchandising strategies, and indirect spending, as well as redesigning the omni-service and in-store selling model to align incentives across channels.

Marcelo has also worked with clients in the airline industry, drug stores, food services, and optical retail. He has substantial experience in procurement, supply chain, product availability and inventory management, and process improvement.

Before joining BCG, Marcelo was Head of Supply Chain for David's Bridal, and Head of Inventory Management & Store Operations for Save-a-Lot.
