Marco Valentini joined Boston Consulting Group in 2004. Before coming to the firm’s Miami office, he worked in offices on three different continents, in North America, in the New Jersey office; in Australia, in the Melbourne office; and in Europe, in the Milan office.

Marco is part of TURN, BCG’s transformation and turnaround practice. He leads the firm's work in product development for TURN, as well as its people and recruiting team for North America.

In addition, Marco is a core member of the Consumer practice, focused on retail. He is part of the Retail Global Leadership team and leads the own brands (private label) topic, as well as the lean operations/total loss product offering. 

Marco has deep experience in large-scale transformations for food and non-food retailers around the globe. He supported several multi-year transformations across three different continents and is highly experienced in grocery retail across multiple topics (category management and buying, own brands, operations, organization, strategy and concept development, localization, and e-commerce). He also has broad project experience in fashion, luxury and travel. 

Before joining BCG, Marco worked for Red Bull in marketing and for Bank of America in investment banking.
