Matthew Brkic joined The Boston Consulting Group in September 2018. He is a core member of BCG TURN, BCG's turnaround, restructuring, and transformation unit. He has spent over 13 years working in operational turnaround and transformation in consulting and private equity, and as an executive with a focus on retail and related industries. 

Matthew has executed principal transactions and advisory projects in the UK, the EU, and Japan and has held interim transformational roles for multinational retailers in the UK, Hong Kong, and China, focusing on corporate finance, strategy, sourcing, supplier management, human resources development, and business process engineering. In his most recent role, Matthew led the growth, restructuring, and sale of one of China's leading mobile phone technology companies. 

Matthew has a deep understanding of China, Chinese culture, and Chinese corporates, having previously lived and worked in Southeast Asia for over six years.
