Maximilian Schüssler joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015. He is a core member of BCG’s Corporate Development practice as well as the Corporate Finance task force. Maximilian is currently an ambassador at the BCG Henderson Institute, where he focuses on business ecosystems.

Maximilian works with clients in mining, process industries, the energy and airline sectors predominantly in Germany and Austria. He specializes in strategy and M&A engagements and has experience in IPO/trade sale support, portfolio review, carve-outs and spin-offs, pre- and post-merger assessment, and due diligence.

Prior to BCG, Maximilian worked for BASF within the global treasury department focusing on special financings and bank risk management. Before that, he held several finance-related internship positions. Maximilian completed the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level II exam in 2014.
