Mike Schwartz joined BCG Digital Ventures, The Boston Consulting Group’s corporate venture investment and incubation firm, in 2015. He works extensively with clients on leveraging the power of blockchain technologies.

In his engagements, Mike draws on his hands-on experience with both new-world digital technology and architecture, as well as enterprise IT architecture. He has deep expertise in large-scale data architecture, and he has led both large and small dynamic teams across many different industry sectors.

Mike’s background includes roles as both founder and CEO of several digital organizations, as well as executive roles in banking, telecommunications, and management consulting.

Prior to joining Digital Ventures, Mike served as CEO of Student Edge, a digital student services organization. He also cofounded the emotional intelligence company Genos and has worked closely with start-ups in identity management, data, and other platform-based IT services. He previously worked as a consultant for BCG and was a vice president at Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust.
