Monica Wegner is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer; Marketing, Sales & Pricing; and People & Organization practices, and she leads BCG’s consumer insight work in Australia and New Zealand.

Since joining BCG in 2004, Monica has worked across a broad range of industries to help clients enhance customer insight and customer experience design, and she is a key contributor to BCG’s global consumer sentiment survey. Monica also has deep expertise in organizational transformation and change management in the retail, travel and tourism, and financial services sectors.

Over the course of her career, Monica has partnered with numerous clients to help them make fundamental changes to offset threats to their business model and drive the next phase of growth. She has provided end-to-end support for many large-scale transformations—handling everything from helping companies define where they want to go to implementing the changes that get them there.

Monica has also taken on a number of roles at clients to help them drive their transformations, such as becoming head of transformation for a travel distribution company and general manager of customer experience at a trade merchant.

Prior to joining BCG, Monica was senior consultant with The NTF Group, advising clients on how to enhance the return on their marketing investments through an in-depth understanding of consumer behavior. She also performed in several professional orchestras.
