Otso Ojanen joined Boston Consulting Group in 2007. He is a member of BCG TURN, the firm’s turnaround and transformation unit. At BCG, Otso has led many successful transformation and large-scale value creation programs, and holistic operations improvement with client executive teams and boards. He has deep experience in efficiency improvement, strategy reset, operating model simplification, and leveraging analytics and digital technology to drive transformational impact.
In his close to 15 years at the firm, Otso has helped leading global and European companies in industrial goods, energy, and services deliver major change. Otos’s work covers full potential/turnaround programs, digital and technology-driven performance improvement programs, integration/post-merger integration programs, operational improvement programs (both cost and capital efficiency, procurement, manufacturing/SCM, next-generation sales, pricing), designing and implementing high-performing organizations, and value creation, strategy and growth, M&A, and business portfolio optimization.
Before joining the firm, Otso was a manager in a software business where he focused on energy utilities, trading, and power exchange customers.
