Peter Forbes joined Boston Consulting Group in October 2016. He is a core member of BCG’s Energy and Technology Advantage practices. Since joining the firm, Peter has worked on digital-strategy development with an upstream oil and gas operator and digital operations-performance optimization with an international oil company. He has also worked on big data and advanced analytics strategy development for a national oil and gas company and helped to develop the digital operating model for an international oil company.

Peter has 20 years of consulting and industry experience. Before joining the firm, he worked at IBM, where he led upstream technology, capital projects, and asset management client engagements. He is the author of several oil industry papers.
