Petros Paranikas is a core member of the Marketing, Sales & Pricing, and Corporate, Finance & Strategy practices at Boston Consulting Group. He leads the firm’s global media collaborative optimization efforts. Petros has worked in a number of industries, including consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, industrial goods, consumer electronics, and technology.
Since joining the firm in 1997, Petros has acquired deep knowledge of and experience in advising clients on portfolio growth strategies, marketing optimization, and negotiations. He has also developed BCG's collaborative media optimization approach, which helps clients stretch the impact of their advertising and marketing budget by revisiting how they work with their agency partners.
In addition to his BCG work, Petros teaches a course at INSEAD called the “Strategy Lab,” that exposes students to the consulting problem-solving approach.
Before joining BCG, Petros was an attorney, a journalist, and an investment banker.
