Phil Forbes-Bell is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice. He has more than ten years of operations experience in fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, industrial goods, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and health care. Phil works with clients on manufacturing excellence, engineering, innovation, and broader supply chain topics. He also completed a 12-month secondment to the Toronto office.

Phil has recently led the development of a manufacturing transformation strategy project for a major UK food company, completed a deep-dive analysis for a major US manufacturer into the causes of new product launch failures across the globe while developing key success design principles for a new process, and developed the global manufacturing footprint strategy for pharmaceutical company in Switzerland.

Before coming to BCG, Phil worked for eight years in various operations roles at Nestlé, and before that, at the Bayford Group. Phil was also an officer in the UK Royal Air Force.
