Qian Xu, a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice, works with clients on company transformation and end-to-end enterprise operation improvement, including plant efficiency improvement, procurement cost reduction, post-merger integration, and organization transformation. The focus of his expertise is manufacturing and supply chain management.

Since joining the firm in February 2020, Qian has helped global and Chinese companies, mainly in automotive, industrial goods, and other manufacturing industries, with their organization and operations improvement, including business growth strategy, organization transformation, M&A, supply chain improvement, business process reengineering, change management, PMO setup and execution, and plant operation improvement. He has also helped many global leading private equity funds with their investment strategy and portfolio management, including pre-deal due diligence, post-deal performance improvement, enterprise holistic turnaround, business process reengineering, interim management, and cash and working capital improvement.

Before becoming a consultant, Qian spent ten years with General Motors and Ford Motor Company in the US.
