Dr. Ralph Lässig joined Boston Consulting Group in November 2017. He leads BCG's Center for Digital in Machinery and supports clients in the machinery and components sector across all digital topics.

Ralph has led over 100 cases in the machinery, automation, electronics, and high-tech fields, and has recent case experience incorporating business process optimization; corporate and business strategy; revenue enhancement and top-line growth; performance improvement and business transformation; and all aspects of the digitization process. This experience includes creating the industry 4.0-based growth strategy for a global automation provider and leading a restructuring and full-scale business transformation for a global IT equipment producer, among many others.

Before joining the firm, Ralph was a Partner at Roland Berger's Engineered Products & High-Tech practice, a Director at AlixPartners, and Head of Business Development at Knorr-Bremse AG.
