Sergey Ishkov is a core member of the Financial Institutions practice at Boston Consulting Group. Sergey joined BCG in 2012. Over his career in consulting, he has led numerous projects for large Russian international banks and public financial institutions covering a wide range of financial services. Including retail banking (mortgage and consumer lending, bank cards, and daily banking), corporate, and SME banking (credit financing, NPL management, and project financing for housing projects), and private banking (leasing, foreign trade—including support of export activities—and direct investment).

Sergey has worked with his clients to devise development strategies for new business models, transform customer journeys while implementing agile methodologies in clients’ teams, and streamline end-to-end risk management processes (including the credit process and NPL).

Sergey possesses a wealth of experience supporting large-scale bank transformation projects, both as part of financial turnaround and during post-merger integration. He has devised new operating models, optimizing cost and organizational structure, drawing up transformation plans, and supporting management teams in implementing every stage.
