Sergey Ishkov is a core member of the Financial Institutions practice at BCG. He joined the firm in 2012 and works with leading banks and insurance companies in Russia and CIS.

Throughout his career in consulting, Sergey has worked on a wide range of topics from CEO and shareholder agendas, mostly focusing on improvement of risk management practices (including end-to-end credit process, and NPL management); large-scale transformations and turnarounds (including cost optimizations, and post-merger integrations); strategy development in retail, corporate, SME, and private banking (including transactions, cards, mortgage, consumer finance, loans, project finance, and leasing); and digital transformation (including Implementation of Agile practices for banks, customer journey transformations, and launch of digital products from scratch).

Over the last year, Sergey has been actively working in Azerbaijan, helping one of the leading banks to launch a fully online lending product for SME customers, as well as supporting a local development institution.

Before joining BCG, Sergey worked as a consultant and a project manager for Oliver Wyman in Moscow and Paris.
