Peak Performance with Smart Simplicity

BCG’s Shilpa Patel explains how her team applied Smart Simplicity to the European business unit of a pharmaceutical company. The impact was faster decision-making, agile ways of working, better distribution of talent, and a stronger, more focused leadership team.

Shilpa Patel is a core member of the Health Care, the Consumer, and the Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices at The Boston Consulting Group. She is also European co-lead of BCG's Digital Marketing Accelerator and a member of the Social Impact Practice Network (SIPN).

Since joining BCG in 2008, Shilpa has focused her client work on commercial biopharma and consumer health care. Her case experience ranges across many topics that include strategy, organization, marketing effectiveness and efficiency, digital marketing, capability development, transformation, and postmerger integration.

Prior to joining BCG, Shilpa was a principal with Marakon Associates. She was also a brand manager at Procter & Gamble in health and beauty care.
