Steve Chai leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice in South Korea as well as the firm's growth topic in Asia-Pacific. He is a core member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications and People & Organization practices.

Since joining BCG in 1993, Steve has worked across industries on numerous projects related to the development and implementation of business strategy, efficiency improvement, and corporate development. He has helped clients form long-term visions and corporate strategies, as well as market-entry strategies, intellectual property strategies, and corporate social-responsibility strategies.

Steve is BCG's topic leader for family business in South Korea and has worked extensively with family businesses to assess acquisition targets, identify new business opportunities, and devise plans for entering industries.

Before joining BCG, Steve worked for PSL and MRA International as a management consultant.
