Since joining The Boston Consulting Group in 2006, Stuart Gander has worked primarily with clients in the health care and telecommunications industries and in the area of private equity. He is a core member of the BCG's Corporate Development and Health Care practices and leads the firm’s global topic of market access in medtech.

Stuart's project work with clients has included conducting strategic market assessments and commercial due diligence for several private equity deals in medtech, medical services, and private health care providers. He has also led a 100-day operational and commercial performance project for a private health care provider and conducted strategic growth and portfolio review projects for global pharmaceutical players in the prescription, branded generic, and OTC sectors.

Stuart has also supported clients in medtech and pharma, working on market entry, product launch, and revenue growth strategies, as well as margin optimizations and organizational transformations.

Stuart has expertise with a range of medical devices and equipment segments including ICU, hospital, and home care equipment; surgical devices; wound care technologies; and diagnostic equipment and tests. He also has extensive experience driving effectiveness in R&D and sales and marketing organizations.

Before joining BCG, he was the director of mobile product development at TeliaSonera, where he worked primarily with mobile data products.
