Tadashi Sobue initially joined Boston Consulting Group in 1998 and rejoined the firm in 2019. He is an expert in investment, capital and risk management, and regulations in insurance and financial institutions. He is a core member of BCG’s Financial Institutions, and Insurance practices. 

Tadashi has over 14 years of experience in various positions in the sales and trading division at multiple global investment banks. Since joining BCG, he has worked closely with clients on topics including capital management, financial transformation, and sales and trading business. 

Prior to rejoining BCG, he worked at Goldman Sachs Japan as a head of Japan Macro Structuring and Strategies, where he managed client-facing quants team for global macro product business in Japan. 

Tadashi co-authored a book, Zentai Saiteki-no-Hoken ALM (Asset Liability Management for Insurance Companies), published by Kinyu Zaisei Jijyo.
