Thomas Klemm Lerstrøm joined Boston Consulting Group in April 2020, bringing over seven years of consulting experience in financial institutions and private equity, earned working with large-scale clients on several continents. He is a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions, TURN, and Principle Investors & Private Equity practices.

Thomas has worked on transformation programs within financial institutions, including operating model, cost transformation, organizational redesign, business strategy, customer loyalty and experience design, digitization, and agile at scale.

In addition, Thomas has a deep expertise in private equity, having led commercial due diligences across industries and markets for Nordic, European, and global buy-out funds. Thomas also has experience in portfolio company work, including full potential plan and commercial excellence.

Prior to joining BCG, Thomas worked at Bain & Company, based in the Nordics, but with extended transfers to the US and Australia.
