Wouter van Leeuwen is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care, Financial Services, and People & Organization practices.

Since joining BCG in 2004, Wouter has supported multiple clients in both the health care and banking industries. In health care, he has worked with providers, health insurers, and medtech companies on strategic and organizational effectiveness topics. For providers, he has led a number of major hospital mergers and supported several hospitals in implementing a value-based way of working. Wouter has worked with health insurers on medical value management and value-based health contracting. He has also worked extensively with global medtech companies on a wide range of strategic initiatives.

In the financial services sector, Wouter works with leading retail and commercial banks on a range of strategic and organizational effectiveness programs. He has led several transformational efforts to increase organizational effectiveness, leveraging BCG’s Smart Simplicity approach, and has supported several postmerger integrations.
