Yasuhiro Yamai joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2010. He is a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions and Insurance practices.

Yasuhiro has worked closely with financial services and insurance clients in Japan on various management issues including digitization strategy, IT optimization strategy, corporate vision formulation, mid- to long-term strategy, and market entry strategy in emerging economies. He also has deep expertise in the asset management sector.

Yasuhiro previously worked at the Bank of Japan and at McKinsey & Co. His studies while at the Bank of Japan in financial engineering were published in the Journal of Banking and Finance and Journal of the Operations Research Society of Japan.
