Rishi Varma

Recruiting Partner

Rishi Varma is a Partner in the New Jersey office of The Boston Consulting Group. Rishi joined BCG in 2011, but before joining the firm, Rishi was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young's Transaction advisory practice. He has also worked at Philip Morris International and Citigroup. He received his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Management, and his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University. Rishi's interests include movies, music, squash, skiing, traveling and wine.

Cheyenne Lanzara

Recruiting Coordinator

Cheyenne Lanzara is a Recruiting Coordinator in the BCG New Jersey office. Cheyenne joined BCG in 2014 and leads the recruiting efforts for the New Jersey Office. Prior to joining BCG, Cheyenne worked at Insight Global as a Technical Recruiter and was promoted to the Account Manager of North Jersey. Cheyenne holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In her spare time, Cheyenne enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to exotic destinations and trying new restaurants.

Austin Pruitt

School Specialist

Austin is an Associate in the New Jersey Office. He joined The Boston Consulting Group as a Summer Associate in 2016 and returned full time in September 2017. He graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His case work at BCG has included conducting a holistic review of non-merchandise spend at a major grocery chain, and a strategic transformational effort at a national chocolate company. Apart from casework Austin is involved in BCG’s ethnic diversity network. For fun he likes go hiking and explore New York City.

Shubham Chatterjee

School Specialist

Shubham joined BCG as a summer associate, and returned full-time in the following year. He graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a certificate in Engineering Biology. His case work at BCG has been mainly within the healthcare space – with a focus on Biopharma Commercial – covering a transformation for a large biopharma client and a product launch for a cellular immunotherapy leader. Beyond case work, Shubham looks forward to every Friday to reconnect with his NJ office family. Outside of BCG, he enjoys searching NYC Yelp selections for periods of time longer than his actual meals, commiserating with fellow Arsenal fans, and following all things comedy. For the next year, Shubham looks forward to learning to cook something beyond toast.

Jessica Pellegrino

Recruiting Assistant

Jessica joined the New Jersey office as a Recruiting Assistant after recently graduating from The College of New Jersey. Jess will focus on the recruiting process at Princeton University for undergraduates. She previously worked in the recruiting department at White & Case LLP., and interned in the HR departments at companies such as Six Flags and Ralph Lauren. In her free time, Jess enjoys traveling, playing the ukulele, and spending time with friends.

Jimmy Royston

NAMR LGBTQ + Recruiting Director

Jimmy Royston is a Principal in the New York office. He oversees LGBT recruiting for BCG in North America, coordinating across schools and offices. He joined BCG in 2009 as an Associate, and has spent time working in the Washington DC and Amsterdam offices before moving to New York. He holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Application Process

As part of the Fall 2018 recruiting campaign, students will have the opportunity to apply to BCG for a Full Time Associate or Summer Associate position. Please apply to both Princeton Handshake AND either the Full-Time or Internship position for your application to be considered. For both positions, please kindly provide:

  • A resume
  • Your top 3 office preferences (weighted to reflect your level of interest in each)
  • Cover letter (optional – you may upload your resume twice if the system requires an upload and you choose not to submit a cover letter)
