Kyle Ruttan

Principal, Associate Recruiting Director

Kyle is a Principal in BCG’s Toronto office. He originally joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2009 and returned as a full-time Associate in 2010. Kyle spent a year abroad in 2017 working in BCG’s Sydney office, helping Australian telecom clients. Kyle is a core member of BCG’s Telecom, Media and Technology practice, helping telecom and media clients on a variety of topics including revenue growth, data strategy and company turn-arounds. Prior to BCG, Kyle completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Ontario and the Richard Ivey School of Business. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys following the Raptors and Jays, snowboarding and when he can, trying to keep up the little surfing he learned down under.

James Boudreau

Consultant, Richard Ivey Captain: HBA

James joined the Toronto office as a Summer Associate in 2014 and returned as a full-time Associate in August of 2015. He earned an Honors of Business Administration (HBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University, graduating as an Ivey Scholar. Prior to BCG, James worked at an overnight camp as a head canoe tripper where he planned and led excursions through various provincial parks in Ontario. At BCG, James has case experience across a variety of industries including consumer goods, retail, financial services & technology. In his spare time outside of work, James enjoys playing a variety of sports including hockey and soccer, producing music and traveling.

Carmen Rendall

Talent Acquisition Lead

Carmen supports the Associate recruiting efforts for Ontario schools, as well as undergrad programs outside of Ontario. She is also responsible for Associate and Consultant recruiting for our Calgary office. Prior to working for BCG, Carmen worked in the legal industry and was most recently responsible for the management and coordination of campus recruiting and student programming at McMillan LLP. She graduated with Honours from the Law Clerk program at Humber College and began her career specializing in litigation and general corporate/commercial law as a law clerk. In her spare time, Carmen enjoys golfing, cooking and spending time at the cottage.

James Gott

Principal, Consultant Recruiting Director

James is a Principal and the Consultant Recruiting Director in the Toronto office. He joined the firm in 2014 as a Consultant. While at BCG, James has worked primarily with consumer products, retail and energy clients across a broad range of topics including corporate strategy, M&A, marketing, procurement, and technology, and in a number of cities (e.g. Boston, Calgary, London, Madrid). Prior to working at BCG, James completed his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his MBA, James worked within the operations and engineering group of a closely-held consumer packaged goods company. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. Outside of work, James enjoys skiing in the winter, spending weekends in cottage-country in the summer, and travelling year round.

Jake Simon

Consultant, Richard Ivey Captain: MBA

Jake is a Consultant in the Toronto office. During his time at BCG, Jake has worked on a variety of topics across a number of practice areas. He particularly enjoys the topic of organizational design, having supported large org transformations for industry leading clients. Prior to BCG, Jake was active in the health tech and consumer retail sectors, gaining experience in corporate strategy & development. Jake received his MBA from Ivey Business School, where he also completed his Honours Business Administration degree. During his HBA, Jake spent a semester abroad in the Belgian town of Louvain-la-Neuve. In his spare time he enjoys being active, watching the Raptors and cooking good food.

Brittany Copeland

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Brittany supports the recruiting efforts of Ontario, US, and International MBA programs for Consultant hiring. Prior to joining BCG, Brittany worked for Hudson's Bay Company as a Human Resources Administrator and Recruiter, where she focused on recruitment and internal HR processes. Prior to Hudson's Bay, Brittany worked for Grant Thornton LLP on their National Campus Recruitment team. She was heavily involved in the creation and execution of their CPA campus recruitment strategy. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management. When not at work, Brittany enjoys cooking, discovering new music, attending TFC games, and exploring Toronto.

Adam Gordon

Recruiting Partner

Adam Gordon is the Recruiting Partner and Managing Director in BCG’s Toronto office. He originally joined the firm in 2005 as an Associate after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Queen’s University. Adam’s consulting practice is focused on Travel & Tourism, specifically serving airlines on a range of strategy, commercial and operational topics. He also has significant experience working with industrial goods and private equity companies. Adam has served clients in Canada, the U.S., Europe and South America. He also spent two years at Qantas Airways in Australia as part of BCG’s Secondment program. Prior to joining BCG, Adam held positions at A.T Kearney as a Business Analyst and at Shaw Pittman in their Government Relations department. Outside of work, Adam’s interests include photography, scuba diving and travelling.
