James Gott

Principal, Consultant Recruiting Director

James Gott is a Principal and the Consultant Recruiting Director in the Toronto office. He joined BCG in the summer of 2014 as a Consultant. While at BCG, James has worked primarily with consumer products, retail and energy clients across a broad range of topics including corporate strategy, M&A, marketing, procurement, and technology, and in a number of cities (e.g. Boston, Calgary, London, Madrid). Prior to working at BCG, James completed his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his MBA, James worked within the operations and engineering group of a closely-held consumer packaged goods company. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. Outside of work, James enjoys skiing in the winter, spending weekends in cottage-country in the summer, and travelling year round.

Jinzi Zheng

Rotman MBA Captain

Prior to joining BCG, Jinzi worked as a Scientist and led her own independent research group at the University Health Network, Canada’s largest healthcare and medical research organization. She also held the position of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Toronto. At the same time, she co-founded a biotech startup based on a nanotechnology platform she invented for image-guided cancer therapy. Her startup won the Johnson & Johnson Innovation’s JLABS QuickFire Challenge as a game-changing early-stage innovation company. Jinzi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering and a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, as well as an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. In between her degrees, she lived in Paris for two years while testing new positron emitting agents at the French Atomic Energy Commission.

Brittany Copeland

Talent Acquisition Assistant

Brittany supports the recruiting efforts of Ontario based MBA programs for Consultant hiring. Prior to joining BCG, Brittany worked for Hudson's Bay Company as a Human Resources Administrator and Recruiter, where she focused on recruitment and internal HR processes. Prior to Hudson's Bay, Brittany worked for Grant Thornton LLP on their National Campus Recruitment team. She was heavily involved in the creation and execution of their CPA campus recruitment strategy. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management. When not at work, Brittany enjoys cooking, discovering new music, attending TFC games, and exploring Toronto.

Adam Gordon

Recruiting Partner

Adam Gordon is the Recruiting Partner and Managing Director in BCG’s Toronto office. He originally joined the firm in 2005 as an Associate after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Queen’s University. Adam’s consulting practice is focused on Travel & Tourism, specifically serving airlines on a range of strategy, commercial and operational topics. He also has significant experience working with industrial goods and private equity companies. Adam has served clients in Canada, the U.S., Europe and South America. He also spent two years at Qantas Airways in Australia as part of BCG’s Secondment program. Prior to joining BCG, Adam held positions at A.T Kearney as a Business Analyst and at Shaw Pittman in their Government Relations department. Outside of work, Adam’s interests include photography, scuba diving and travelling.

Class of 2020 Summer Consultant Opportunities

Eligibility: We are interested in meeting MBA students scheduled to graduate in 2020 for an internship during the summer of 2019. Candidates should demonstrate success in their academic and extra-curricular activities, whether that be through volunteer work, professional internships, or through personal initiatives. We seek people with drive, creativity, intelligence, and an ability to lead.
