Alejandro Mayer

Recruiting Partner

Alejandro Mayer, Partner and Managing Director, San Francisco, joined BCG in 2008 after earning his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to Stanford, he earned his BS in Computer Science from the University of Warwick in England. Prior to joining BCG, Alejandro worked in the steel pipe industry with Tenaris, a multinational company headquartered in Argentina, as an analyst in IT and supply chain, as well as in the software development industry with I-Dalmine in Italy. He enjoys playing soccer and rugby.

Tristan Heinrich

Recruiting Director

Tristan Heinrich is a Principal in the Boston Consulting Group's San Francisco office. Tristan’s previous work at BCG includes Healthcare, Industrial Goods, Financial Services, and Social Impact projects.  He has traveled in South America where he researched microfinance and taught English and Geography in an Andean farming community. Tristan received a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. Tristan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain scholarship recipient and captain of the men's varsity tennis team. He studied Economics and Political Science.

Elizabeth Nymberg

Talent Acquisition Manager

Elizabeth is the Talent Acquisition Manager for BCG's San Francisco office. Previously, Elizabeth managed Associate recruiting for the BCG NY Metro offices. She joined BCG in 2004, and has worked with both the M.B.A. and Ph.D. programs in addition to the undergraduate recruiting program. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and enjoys yoga, running and cooking.

Katie Walsh

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Katie joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2016. Prior to BCG, she worked as a teacher in San Francisco. At BCG, her efforts are focused on associate recruiting. Katie received her BA in Sociology from University of California, Los Angeles. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring the Bay Area.

Swaril Mathur

Stanford Specialist

Swaril is an Associate in BCG’s San Francisco office. She earned her M.S. in Bioengineering from Stanford in 2016, and her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine in 2015. At Stanford, she also studied entrepreneurship and venture formation as a DFJ Entrepreneurial Leadership Fellow. Swaril has worked in the MedTech industry, with global leaders as well as early-stage start-ups. At BCG, she has continued to work primarily in healthcare, on a number of projects across the ecosystem (payer, provider, pharma, medtech). In her free time, she can be found hiking, biking, or (of course) traveling.

Mackenzie Yaryura

Stanford Specialist

Mackenzie Yaryura, Associate, San Francisco, joined BCG’s San Francisco Office as a Summer Associate in 2015 and returned as an Associate in 2018. Since joining BCG, her case experience has included concept testing for a consumer retail website redesign, modeling donor strategy to increase annual donations, and capacity planning for digital enablement at BCG. Mackenzie holds a Bachelors of Arts in Public Policy with Honors in Education from Stanford University. Mackenzie is developing a national education strategy in the Middle East.

Jimmy Royston

NAMR LGBTQ + Recruiting Director

Jimmy Royston is a Principal in the New York office. He oversees LGBT recruiting for BCG in North America, coordinating across schools and offices. He joined BCG in 2009 as an Associate, and has spent time working in the Washington DC and Amsterdam offices before moving to New York. He holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

We are also accepting full-time applications for GAMMA at this time. To learn more about GAMMA consulting work, please visit the GAMMA application site. In order to qualify for a GAMMA position, you must have Master’s degree in a field linked to computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or related data centric field. Minimum requirement ability to code in Python.
