Kyle Ruttan

Principal, Associate Recruiting Director

Kyle is a Principal in BCG’s Toronto office. He originally joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2009 and returned as a full-time Associate in 2010. Kyle spent a year abroad in 2017 working in BCG’s Sydney office, helping Australian telecom clients. Kyle is a core member of BCG’s Telecom, Media and Technology practice, helping telecom and media clients on a variety of topics including revenue growth, data strategy and company turn-arounds. Prior to BCG, Kyle completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Ontario and the Richard Ivey School of Business. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys following the Raptors and Jays, snowboarding and when he can, trying to keep up the little surfing he learned down under.

Mariana Gomez

Consultant, U of Toronto Captain

Mariana joined BCG's Toronto office as an Associate in September 2016 after completing a summer internship in 2015. She has spent time in the Financial Services, Industrial Goods and Consumer/Retail practices. At BCG, she has had a diverse set of experiences ranging from enabling cultural change for a Canadian bank, to optimizing transportation routing for a major retailer. Mariana holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering and an Engineering Business Minor from the University of Toronto, graduating with Highest Honours in 2016. Prior to her summer at BCG, Mariana completed a year-long internship at General Electric in their Lighting department. In her spare time, Mariana enjoys dancing, reading, and travelling.

Carmen Rendall

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Carmen supports the Associate recruiting efforts for Ontario schools, as well as undergrad programs outside of Ontario. She is also responsible for Associate and Consultant recruiting for our Calgary office. Prior to working for BCG, Carmen worked in the legal industry and was most recently responsible for the management and coordination of campus recruiting and student programming at McMillan LLP. She graduated with Honours from the Law Clerk program at Humber College and began her career specializing in litigation and general corporate/commercial law as a law clerk. In her spare time, Carmen enjoys golfing, cooking and spending time at the cottage.

Adam Gordon

Recruiting Partner

Adam Gordon is the Recruiting Partner and Managing Director in BCG’s Toronto office. He originally joined the firm in 2005 as an Associate after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Queen’s University. Adam’s consulting practice is focused on Travel & Tourism, specifically serving airlines on a range of strategy, commercial and operational topics. He also has significant experience working with industrial goods and private equity companies. Adam has served clients in Canada, the U.S., Europe and South America. He also spent two years at Qantas Airways in Australia as part of BCG’s Secondment program. Prior to joining BCG, Adam held positions at A.T Kearney as a Business Analyst and at Shaw Pittman in their Government Relations department. Outside of work, Adam’s interests include photography, scuba diving and travelling.

Class of 2020 Summer Associate Opportunities

Eligibility: We are interested in meeting Undergraduate and Master’s students scheduled to graduate in 2020 and Master’s students graduating between October and December 2019. Candidates should demonstrate success in their academic and extra-curricular activities, whether that be through volunteer work, professional internships, or through personal initiatives. We seek people with drive, creativity, intelligence, and an ability to lead.

Application Deadline: The deadline for Summer Associate applications is Friday, January 4 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
