Meet Our Team

Kyle Ruttan is the Campus Recruiting Partner for Toronto and Managing Director & Partner.  Kyle originally joined BCG as a Summer Associate in 2009, re-joining for full-time in 2010 after completing the joint Integrated Engineering and Business program at Western University and the Ivey School of Business.  Kyle’s consulting practice focuses on serving leading Telecom clients across North America across a range of topics, with a special focus on applying AI to drive business impact.  As part of his work, he spent a year with BCG’s Sydney office supporting Telco clients as a BCG Practice Area Ambassador.  Outside of work, Kyle’s interests include running, snowboarding and cheering on the Raptors.

Zach Hamel is a Principal and the Associate Recruiting Director in BCG's Toronto office. He joined BCG in 2016 after completing a summer internship in 2015. Zach’s work focuses on growth & product creation strategy with a focus on Consumer Durables & Industrial Goods. He’s worked with clients in North America, Europe, Australia, and China. Zach graduated from Western University’s Ivey Business School in London, Ontario as an Ivey Scholar.

Principal, Associate Recruiting Director
Katherine joined the BCG Toronto office as an Associate in October 2020 after summer internship at the firm in 2019. During her internship, Katherine was responsible for designing and piloting team retrospective and project benefit tracking systems as part of an IT operating model project. Prior to BCG, she has had experience researching natural language processing at ETH Zürich, designing algorithmic market-making strategies at RBC Capital Markets, and developing software at an AI startup acquired by Square.
Katherine graduated with high honours from a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, where she was a University of Toronto Engineering International Scholar and a recipient of a University of Toronto Student Leadership Award.

Alisha is a Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist in BCG's Toronto office. She joined as a Recruiting Intern back in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from Ryerson University, majoring in Human Resources and minoring in Psychology. Prior to working for BCG, Alisha had worked in the nuclear/electricity industry supporting Kinectrics Inc. Outside of work Alisha enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and testing out new food trends.

Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist
Lewis is an Associate in BCG’s Toronto office. Returning after his Summer 2021 internship with BCG, Lewis Liu graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to joining BCG, Lewis interned with the M&A advisory team at Deloitte (Beijing office) and the Asset Management team at Oxford Properties. Outside of work, Lewis enjoys basketball, table tennis, and running.

Bridge to Consulting
March 25th
The Bridge to Consulting Workshop enables freshman/first year and sophomore/second year students from underrepresented minority groups, specifically Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Indigenous/Native American/Alaska Native, to explore life as an Associate at BCG.
