Harsha Bollina

UK University Recruiting Director

Harsha joined BCG in January 2011, having previously worked as a Doctor in the NHS and across various start-ups that he either founded or joined. He graduated in Medicine from The University of Edinburgh and has also received a degree in Management from Imperial College London. Harsha is focused on the Health Care and Financial Institutions practice areas and has worked with clients in health insurance, private equity, hospitals, banks and pharmaceuticals.

Alex Smith

UK University Recruiter

Alex is the UK University Recruiter for BCG, joining the firm in 2018. She previously worked in Banking and Finance for over 3 years, specialising in Campus Recruitment and Graduate hires. She holds a degree in History and Politics from Nottingham University.

Lucy Kemp

Senior International Recruiting Coordinator

Lucy works on the campaigns for the London Business School and other UK universities. Lucy started at BCG in 2015 in the role of the UK, University Recruiting Coordinator for BCG London. Before BCG, she worked for a boutique recruitment firm for over two years as a candidate manager placing strategy and management consultants onto freelance projects. Lucy holds a BSc in Psychology from Leeds University.

Ashley Dartnell

Head of Campus Recruiting CEMA/WESA

Ashley heads up campus recruiting for both MBA and undergraduate candidates for BCG’s Central Europe, Middle East, Western Europe, South American and African regions. She previously worked in Film and Television and began her career in BCG’s New York Office after graduating from Harvard Business School and Bryn Mawr College. She is based in the London Office. Kate Harman

Head of London Recruiting

Kate joined BCG's London Recruiting Team in December 2011. Kate heads up the recruiting function and is responsible for managing the team and overseeing our consulting hiring via the University, MBA and Industry channels. Before joining BCG, Kate headed up the Graduate Recruitment department for a US Law Firm based in London. Kate spent 6 years designing and implementing an award-winning graduate training programme before changing sectors into Management Consulting. Kate graduated from the University of East Anglia in Business Management.

Application Process

Summer Internships/Visiting Associate Positions

BCG London offers a summer internship programme for penultimate year students. The application period for penultimate year students interested in summer internships in the London office opens on 1st January 2019. Firstly, you need to apply online and attach your CV, cover letter and transcripts. Successful applicants will pass through a CV review, and will be invited to first round interviews. We require an outstanding academic record (a minimum of 2:1 degree or equivalent), plus evidence of excellence in non-academic and extra-curricular activities. Unfortunately, BCG does not offer any off-cycle internship programmes.

Full time positions (Associates and Senior Associates)

Our selection process is rigorous. Firstly, you need to apply online and attach your CV, cover letter and transcripts. Applications for our Full time positions will open in Autumn 2018. Successful applicants will pass through a CV review, and will be invited to our first round interviews. We require an outstanding academic record (a minimum of 2:1 degree or equivalent), plus evidence of excellence in non-academic and extra-curricular activities.

The first round consists of a 45-minute face to face case based interview and a written numerical test. At the second round, you will have two 45-minute face to face case based interviews and final round will consist of three 45-minute face-to-face case based interviews with Partners and senior Principals of the London office.

Applications will open in Autumn 2018.
