I feel really lucky to have found BCG and my career. With a business and marketing degree, I was set for a marketing grad program when I stumbled on BCG and consulting. It all sounded too good to be true: the diversity of work, the quality of the people, and the support and standards across the organization.
Sixteen years later, I find myself continually challenged and, indeed, thriving in the exciting internal as well as client environment. The flexibility and changing nature of our work has meant that I’ve been able to easily come in and out of my various roles—enjoying a yearlong secondment at a client and some time off with each of my children.
As a partner, I’ve been able to focus more on my areas of passion (media and telco) and feel as if I am still learning so much.
Q: How has BCG helped you grow and succeed?
A: It has taught me to have the confidence that every problem is solvable—with the right process and team on board.
Q: Why did you choose to work at BCG?
A: I was drawn to the thrill and diversity of the work and the supportive nature of the people. It still keeps me here today. At BCG, no year is ever the same, no month is ever the same. There’s a wealth of opportunities and so many exciting places to be, people to work with, and problems to solve.
