Emanuele Is a Courageous Visionary

Partner & Managing Director, Milan

At BCG, Visionaries navigate complexity with ease. They use their insight and intuition to identify the solutions that will create lasting impact. Emanuele has the courage to take action.

What I care about most is bringing value to our clients. This means to me always pushing one step further in thinking, and then taking responsibility for making things happen.

Emanuele

In Emanuele’s Words

BCG for me has been and continues to be a fascinating ride, where the variety of issues, the excellence of the people, and the ever-growing new stimuli keep pushing me to give my best.

I am proud now to be able to orchestrate the tremendous breadth of capabilities and passion of our company to the benefit of my clients, some of the largest insurance groups in Europe, and to be their partner in facing their most pressing strategic issues.

What really makes BCG unique to me is its special culture. I have never known a company with the same energy, relentless desire to improve, and collaborative spirit as I find every day within my colleagues. When senior partners from the other side of the world whom I’ve never met before answer my requests for help in a matter of minutes, I realize what a special company BCG is.

About Emanuele

Emanuele graduated magna cum laude in industrial engineering from the University of Genova and holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.

Q&A

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I learn everyday from the interactions I have with senior resources at our clients: some of the brightest and most challenging managers, but also experts and thoughtful people. Furthermore, I am energized by the unpredictability of my job, requiring speed of reaction to unforeseen challenges. The daily agenda is never the same.

Q: When did you know you belonged at BCG?

A: When I joined BCG, as is true of many others, I was mostly focused on my personal development. After some years, though, I realized that I was thinking and acting for the long-term success of the company. I had come to care about the internal organization, the BCG brand, and, above all, the relationship with our clients.

Q: How do you maintain a sustainable career balance at BCG?

A: My wife has been a tremendous help to my career, providing continuous support even at moments when my job has been demanding. At the same time, because she and my kids are in my life, I push myself to be more efficient and avoid excesses—and strike a balance that is sustainable in the long term.
