Managing Director & Partner, Brussels
At BCG, Allies bring a sense of collaboration and excitement to their teams. They create an atmosphere of trust and support in which people can do their best work. France challenges the status quo.
You'll be successful at BCG if you are passionate about understanding your client's real challenges and making real change happen.
After graduation, my goal was to find a job where I could play a real role and have impact but still keep learning and further grow my skill set; this is what brought me to BCG.
BCG has provided me with unparalleled learning opportunities. The first year on the job has already brought me to meetings and discussions I would never have imagined being a part of before. I have continuously evolved and gained responsibilities, with BCG always pushing me out of my comfort zone and helping me achieve always more results.
France holds a commercial engineering degree from Solvay School of Economics and Management and joined BCG as an associate.
Q: What is a typical day like for you?
A: There is no such thing as a typical day at BCG; that's what makes it so exciting. You can be having a very serious discussion with a CEO in the morning, get crazy on an Excel file in the afternoon, have an animated exchange in a case team meeting in the evening, and take a flight overnight!
Q: What did you learn in your first year on the job?
A: The first year on the job has really pushed me out of my comfort zone, leading me to drive insights independently and take an active role in important meetings. The key thing I learned is that I was actually capable of much more than what I thought!
Q: How do you maintain a sustainable career balance at BCG?
A: I learned to get to know myself better and understand my priorities and key nonnegotiable requirements. Being clear on what I really wanted and what my limits were has allowed me to fully leverage the flexibility that BCG can offer to reach my objectives.
