The best part of working at BCG is that you are able to plan, evaluate, and implement the solution to extremely complex issues while being supported by an outstanding team full of smart, motivated, and fun colleagues.
I joined BCG straight from my master's degree in finance and as my first job. One day after joining the Bogotá office, I was already on a plane heading to a Caribbean island to start my first project. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on challenging projects in multiple countries and industries, including insurance, energy, telco, and industrial goods.
After three years at BCG, I am still impressed by each one of the bright and motivated colleagues I have worked with. Everyone you meet at BCG has a different professional and personal story that brings a complementary view on how to solve challenging problems while at the same time having fun, learning from the others, and bringing new expertise to the table.
Juan holds a management degree from University of Lausanne, HEC Lausanne, and a master of finance from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

A: BCG has permitted me to understand the main challenges top management faces and given me the tools, methodology, and resources to find suitable solutions to those challenges.
Q: What is something that has surprised you about working at BCG?
A: Something that has surprised me about working at BCG is that there is not a single new project for which there is not prior experience (from experts, previous cases, or the knowledge team) that can be leveraged to solve and structure the work.
