BCG is a company full of inspiring people. If you value people and aspire to grow yourself further, there will be no place like BCG.
I have a business degree and worked in the financial advisory industry for more than five years before joining BCG. I came to BCG because of my curiosity for qualitative drivers of the business world, and the position as a global banking analyst also fascinated me.
My experience at BCG has broadened my view beyond the level I had expected. I have been exposed to the newest trends and challenges the industry is facing around the world, and I have had opportunities to work on BCG's tier 1 research and cases globally.
Jungeun holds a BSc (honors) in management from Warwick Business School, the University of Warwick. Before BCG, Jungeun worked in the deal business group at PwC Korea and in corporate tax advisory at Deloitte UK.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The work never gets repetitive. Being an industry analyst at BCG means that you get exposed to the newest trends and top management agenda of the industry. My work has always been interesting!
Q: What did you learn in your first year on the job?
A: Collaborative spirit. While each of us has his or her own domain of expertise, we work together as a team even from the remotest places around the globe. I was amazed by how much each of us is willing to help and contribute!
Q: What international experiences at BCG have been the most interesting for you?
A: I was selected for the Center for Knowledge & Analytics mobility program in 2015 and had the opportunity to work in the Frankfurt office for six months. During this period, I was overwhelmed by the hospitality my Frankfurt colleagues showed me and was truly inspired by the experiences and insights each of my colleagues brought to the team.
