Senior Partner & Managing Director, Paris
At BCG, Challengers go against expected thinking and inspire their teams to be truly innovative. Mathieu is unafraid to try new things.
At BCG, everything moves four times faster: learning, career development, and personal growth. This dynamic generates enthusiasm, inventiveness, and a true pleasure in accomplishing ever-greater things.
BCG is a tremendous career accelerator. Over five years at BCG, you discover as many issues, companies, and industries as you would have over 20 years elsewhere. You meet extremely high-level people and your network gets increasingly larger and diversified. Learning is constant, and you receive fair—although challenging—feedback within teams as well as from clients. You develop intellectual agility, curiosity, and an eagerness to take up challenges.
But BCG is also a catalyst. Within a community of BCGers, with such diverse profiles and strong personalities, you find a more personal source of inspiration. You meet with musicians, conductors, stage actors, mountain climbers, and navigation enthusiasts. I would have never imagined being able to write and publish my first novel while also fulfilling my responsibilities as a partner.
Mathieu is a partner and managing director in the Paris office. Prior to joining BCG in 2001, he held several different roles, including general manager for a subsidiary of a French firm in the metals industry, then group sales and marketing director for a leader in protective services. He was also general manager for a communication group.
Mathieu graduated from HEC (1989) with a specialization in entrepreneurial business development.
