From exploring the business challenges around the world, to working on another continent for a year—at BCG, everything is possible if you’re up for the challenge!
When I started at BCG over three years ago, there were two things I was really looking forward to: a steep learning curve and international experience. That used to be what everybody thought of when hearing about management consulting. No matter how many times I heard those words, though, nothing could ever prepare me for what I found: these exact things—but to the power of ten!
Looking back, I am not only amazed by how quickly I could grow, learn, and have tangible impact on businesses all around the world, I’m also every tiny little bit as enthusiastic for the next three years as I was on the very first day I stepped into the Athens office. I’m enthusiastic about the next project, the next team, the next client, the next industry, the next country, the next continent—the next challenge. I always wanted to solve problems, to challenge the “the way we do it here,” to optimize how things work, to have real impact. And honestly, there’s no place better than BCG to do it.
