At BCG, Storytellers synthesize complex information and ideas. They believe in bringing the whole team together to get a broader perspective. Ufuk challenges the status quo.
You'll be successful at BCG if you enjoy challenging the status quo as well as working with people, be it your team or your client.
I have an engineering and research background, which means I was used to doing detailed analyses on theoretical topics with less focus on real-world applications. BCG has completely changed my perspective. Here, we work with clients to challenge the status quo and deliver tangible impact. Everything we do at BCG is toward improving a real system, whether an industry or service. Our work is tangible, applicable, and observable. This is a tremendous value proposition to our clients.
Ufuk has an industrial engineering and operations research PhD from Penn State University. He previously worked in the US for two years in the software and consulting sector.

A: Smart, collaborative, hard working, and fun.
Q: Have you benefited from a mentoring relationship at BCG?
A: Absolutely. Partners are the best-positioned people at BCG to help other consultants. They have been there, and they are open to supporting you.
