Associate

As an associate, you’ll work on a case team with talented, supportive BCGers who will help you learn and challenge you to grow. You’ll be responsible for specific components of a project, such as analyzing a client’s performance or conducting interviews with key market players or industry specialists.

Consultant

Consultant

As a consultant, you’ll begin to develop specialized knowledge and manage significantly larger and more complex components of our projects. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.

Project Leader

Project Leader

BCG project leaders have developed the experience and leadership skills to direct diverse teams of consulting talent. Your role: Help those teams flourish by guiding their efforts, directing their talents, and expanding their knowledge and skills to deliver strategic and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Principal

Principal

As a BCG principal, you will focus on building client relationships that are strong and lasting. You will have a growing role in thought leadership, team mentoring, and business development. Clients will seek your advice on business issues that extend beyond the immediate scope of your project work. Thus, you often help them define the strategic direction of their organizations.

Partner

Partner

BCG’s partner group defines the culture and strategic direction of BCG and makes all management decisions for the firm. Partners are our intellectual leaders, bringing deep experience to our clients and inspiring innovation throughout our company. As a partner, you will drive BCG’s growth and help build the teams to meet tomorrow’s client issues and challenges.

Expert Consulting

Consultant

As a consultant, you’ll focus your industry or discipline expertise on specific client challenges, working collaboratively with our clients as a case team member.

Project Leader and Principal

Expert project leaders and principals contribute to or lead case teams, depending on their experience and skill set. You may also play the role of an advisor on relevant cases, providing guidance at project launch and at key checkpoints. Project leaders and principals participate increasingly in business and expertise development.

Associate Director and Director

Senior-level experts work closely with BCG partner teams to drive our company’s growth. In these roles, you’ll take a larger and more proactive role in shaping your practice area’s—and BCG’s—strategy. Like other experts, associate directors and directors continue to play important roles supporting and executing client service engagements.

BCG GAMMA

Data scientist and senior data scientist

As a data scientist or senior data scientist, you design and build analytics solutions for our clients when data and analytics are at the heart of the question. The team interaction centers on the use of statistical programs and other tools to conduct intensive analysis of objective data and open discussion, complemented by objective research into the competitive environment.

Requirements: advanced degree and master's degree with three to six years of relevant industry experience

Lead data scientists and principal data scientists

Lead and principal data scientists work closely with BCG partners to drive our company's growth. They are expected to be recognized experts in data science and to manage teams of data scientists in order to build innovative new products and analytics solutions. Lead and principal data scientists also take a larger and more proactive role in shaping the strategy of BCG GAMMA—and of BCG overall. Additionally, they are responsible for a large portion of client relationship management for the analytics effort.

Requirements: advanced degree or master’s degree with seven to ten years of relevant industry work experience providing advanced analytics solutions
