BCG was number four on Fortune's “100 Best Companies to Work For” list in 2018—a reflection of our commitment to the career sustainability and satisfaction of our employees.
At BCG, we believe that innovation can only thrive in an organizational culture of openness, flexibility, and mutual respect—where all ideas are heard regardless of tenure and where people are supported to pursue a path that’s right for them.
Working at BCG means working differently. We seek a better way to manage case work, and helping our consultants sustain longer, more satisfying careers is a constant objective.
To reach this goal, we created a global program we call PTO (Predictability, Teaming, and Open Communication).
Led by an experienced BCG facilitator, PTO provides a forum for sharing each team member’s progress and needs and establishes a detailed roadmap—from launch to completion—for every project. The roadmap includes transparent working norms, priorities, and a collectively agreed-on time-off goal for each team member, so that low-value work doesn’t consume your high-value personal and professional time.
