Our Calgary team is a dedicated group of entrepreneurial, collaborative, and inquisitive leaders coming from a variety of backgrounds, countries, and programs. We are also supported by the global team of BCG experts.
Our office is a close-knit group that support each other in all we do. This is an environment that encourages openness and collaboration to further enhance our strong sense of community. Staff at all levels have the opportunity to shape the office culture and contribute to the development of our business.
Our team enjoys spending time together, especially during our annual ski trip, summer events, and social events throughout the year. We also operate as a tight Canadian system, regularly coming together with our colleagues in Montréal and Toronto.
In addition to the exciting and high-impact client work we do, we strive to be an integral part of the community of leaders who shape Canada's future. BCG in Canada has a long history of giving back to our community. We have played a pivotal role in shaping the strategies of numerous charities in Canada through pro bono work and board participation.
Our staff has the opportunity to support our national and global social impact initiatives as well as our local work. BCG in Calgary partners with the local United Way to support them in their strategic planning and initiatives. Additionally, BCGers support local charities through our board fellows programs, mentoring activities, and office wide volunteering.
My most memorable moment at BCG so far has been getting the ad in the mail for a retail electricity company we helped launch. It was a pretty proud moment to see years of work with the client come to fruition. I still have the ad hanging on my fridge.
The best part of working at BCG is the sense of culture and collaboration we have internally and also that which we develop with our clients—it's truly inspirational.
One of the ways working at BCG has allowed me to grow is by providing access to the tools and expertise I need to add value to my projects. One of my best learning experiences is when I was able to work with BCG's geoanalytics team to develop a network growth strategy for a client.
