BCG's Washington, DC, office has enjoyed continuous growth since opening in the US capital in 1996. The office went from two founding partners working out of a basement home office to a thriving group of partners and professionals serving a broad variety of clients and industries. The office's proximity to the Northern Virginia and Maryland business corridors and to the federal government provides a wide range of client opportunities for consulting staff.

Who We Work With

Thanks to a broad range of expertise in our office, we have a diverse client portfolio that provides both a cushion against business cycles and the opportunity to work across many industries and functions. Our recent client roster has included industrial goods, consumer goods, retail, technology and communications, health care, and financial services companies. The range of services we provide includes general strategy, postmerger integration work, organizational change, and corporate development, among others.

We also partner regularly with public sector clients to support a variety of projects and causes, including public education, global public health, and environmental conservation. The office's consultants have worked with clients in numerous locations throughout the country, as well as in Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America.

The office has a high-energy environment and everyone shares a commitment to serving their clients' varied needs. The staff is equally committed to enjoying a balanced life, recognizing the importance of sharing time with family.

We engage in a wide variety of pursuits, both inside and outside of BCG, yet we have all decided BCG is the right place for us: the right place to work with passionate colleagues and clients and the right place to build professional networks and lasting friendships. As members of the local community, the Washington staff is involved in an active outreach program that includes sponsoring less fortunate families during the holidays, supporting food and clothing drives, participating in the National Race for the cure cancer fundraiser
